MOTORCYCLE INSURANCE ยท GEORGIA

Georgia motorcycle insurance written for what you actually ride.

A cruiser, a sport bike, a dual-sport, and a vintage Triumph are four different insurance products. We place motorcycle coverage across carriers that underwrite motorcycles seriously, rather than as a lower-priority line on a generic auto policy.

WHAT'S COVERED

What a Georgia motorcycle policy covers

Liability (BI and PD)

Pays for injuries and property damage you cause. Georgia minimum is 25/50/25. Most riders should carry 100/300 or 250/500.

Collision and Comprehensive

Collision for crash damage. Comprehensive for theft, weather, and vandalism. Required by any party with a secured interest.

Uninsured Motorist

Pays when an at-fault driver has no insurance or insufficient limits. Critical on a motorcycle where injury exposure is higher.

Custom Parts and Gear

Covers aftermarket pipes, seats, paint, and saddlebags above the base bike value. Riding gear can be added on most policies.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS

What motorcycle insurance does not cover

Competition and track use

Track days, racing, and speed contests are excluded on a standard policy. Track coverage is a separate specialty product.

Commercial use

Food delivery, courier, and other commercial use of a personal motorcycle is excluded. Commercial auto or commercial motorcycle is the right product.

Unscheduled gear

Riding gear (jackets, helmets, boots) has a default limit of $500 to $1,500 on most policies. Serious gear needs a scheduled endorsement.

Passenger liability without endorsement

Some carriers require a specific passenger liability endorsement to cover injuries to a passenger. Worth confirming before your first two-up ride.
